Vision: To meet the demand for animal meat from fish sources, alleviate poverty and increase export earnings.
Mission: To meet the nutritional needs of the country by increasing the sustainable production of fish and shrimp and other aquatic resources and to increase the export income and to achieve the desired development of poor fishermen and fishermen and socio-economic sector of Bangladesh through proper management of open water bodies with the participation of target population.
